The stars glisten,
And we can’t help but accompany their sparkles of praise.
Little voices speak His Words,
Blessing the LORD,
And telling of the glory of His splendor.
And as as we join in their praise,
His mighty acts shimmer in our own eyes
And dazzle the world around us with His greatness.
One craft stick at a time…
We paint –
and glitter – (some more than others)
and glue –
and hang.
Reminding us that ALL His works praise Him.
One word of exaltation at a time…
We join with the stars and the whales,
Playing our own part in telling ALL people of His magnitude.
“All your works praise you, Lord;
your faithful people extol you.
They tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,
so that all people may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.”
-Psalm 145:10-12
Want to join our family in memorizing Psalm 145? You can make some stars out of craft sticks, a little paint (mixed with glue) and glitter… or simply cut one out of paper. :) It doesn’t have to be fancy, but as you craft together a star- speak these Words from Psalm 145 into your hearts. Then, have fun seeing if everyone can say the verses LOUD enough to reach the stars, and soft enough to put a baby to sleep under the stars.
And, if you have a chance- pull out your phone, and video the fun. We would LOVE to see your videos. This week, we were blessed to get to watch another precious girl saying the same verses our family is memorizing, and I can’t tell you how encouraging that was, and how excited our kids were to see another child hiding the same words in her heart!
Here is my beautiful eight year-old, Elliana, saying this week’s verses for you! She was nervous that she didn’t have them quite memorized, but she did a GREAT job – Don’t you think?
Click here- if you can’t see the video!
I’ll be putting my little 3 year-old’s attempt on our Facebook page. :)
Join us!?

That is a great way to memorize scripture! Great job to your princess!
I was wondering where you got the trays that you are putting the art on? What a great idea for keeping glitter mess under control!
Hi Anna! Thank you for your sweet encouragement.
The trays I got at Target a couple summers ago for a dollar or two a piece. I haven’t seen them there for a while though, as I think it was a seasonal thing!? I know I’ve seen some at Oriental Trading Co. in the past. Maybe they’d have some? We do love them for all sorts of art projects!
Hope you have a blessed day!

I just love coming by your blog and getting new ideas of things to do with my little that will be fun and also teach her about the word of God. You are one creative momma and your kiddos are just too precious!! Love watching them grow up in the way they should go.
