Happy Birthday to My Miracle Babies

My Precious Beautiful Girls~ Tears stream down my face as I see the beautiful girls you are becoming- the beautiful girls that God has created you to be. I still remember the day when I found out we were expecting you! What a joy it was to see two little jelly-bean looking babies with perfect heartbeats staring at me from the ultrasound screen. And then, eight weeks before you were due, I got to hold you in my arms. Those seventeen days in the hospital continue to be some of my most treasured memories. And I am so grateful for every drop of time together since then. Your hearts are beautiful, kind, loving, and strong. And I am blessed to be your mommy!

My firstborn by one minute… What an incredible heart you have. I am in awe of how God has created you to be so fun, creative, and full of beauty. Thank you for the sweet letters you leave on my pillow and for the love that you show each one of us. I love listening to your creative stories and talking with you over “tea.” Your smiles always brighten my day, and your persistence and faithfulness brings encouragement to this mommy’s heart. I love you, Alyssa- more than I can say!

You are an answer to prayer, each and every day. Your helpful, mothering heart continually shows kindness to me, your family, and everyone you meet. I’m so blessed to hear that you want to be a mommy someday, as you have seen my many struggles and yet forgive me anyways. I love your hugs and your kind words of encouragement. And your thoughtfulness is an incredible blessing. You are beautiful on the inside and out, Elliana. I love you dearly!

(They were SO excited that for their eighth birthday, they were able to get their ears pierced!! What a fun day we had!!)
