Preschool Activities

If you read about all of the fun our Kindergarteners have been having, you are probably curious about our sweet Preschooler!! Well, Kayla is enjoying school just as much as her big sisters!! :)  We continue to be blessed by Heart of Dakota’s “Little Hands to Heaven” Curriculum, as I am still dealing with a bit of “all-day-sickness”- I am ever so grateful that God led us to a curriculum that is centered on Him, is so well planned out, is easy to get done each day (even if I have to be lying on the couch), & is so much fun for our little sweetie!!

Here are some pictures showing a glimpse of the fun Kayla has had these last few weeks…

*Constructing her own “temple” with marshmallows & toothpicks…marshmallow temple temple

*Pretending to be birds bringing food to Elijah (& sorting the snacks in the process)…

*Making a model of Elijah’s altar…altar

*Practicing pouring “oil” into all different jars (although our oil ran out, unlike the m-m-miracle that God did in the story of Elisha & the Widow)…

*Smiling while making her own soap that she LOVED using each day (we made this when we talked about how Namaan was healed by God… another m-m-miracle)…

*And acting out the story of King Hezekiah, after making her own crown :)…

What a joy it is to spend precious time with this special girl each day!! She is learning so much!

She made her soap into a heart. That is so original. I can’t wait to start my little girl this next year. It will be so different from the boys! I will frequently visit your blog for girl ideas!!!
